1/2 Watt Amplifierⁱ Circuit

Uses include a low power speaker driver, PC speakers basic pre amp etc. I have also used this circuit successfully as a guitar amplifier.

You will need the following Electronic components <to build this kit

• 2 x 47nF Polyester capacitor
• 2 x 100uF Capacitorⁱ<
• 1 x 10R resistorⁱ<
• 1 x 10k POT
• 1 x PP3 Battery Clip
• 1 x LM386 Amp chip
• 1 x Loudspeaker 

Estimated cost is approximately £2.50 or less

You can also configure the circuit to have a gain of 200 but as you can imagine this is quite distorted.
